Diane Wade

I am a Research Administrator with the Department of Energy, Science and Engineering at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.

My role involves Finance, Grant & Affiliate Management. This means I am responsible for affiliate accounts, department accounts, sponsored grants (pre & post award) and faculty financial portfolios. I'm the financial liaison to the affiliates, and work with faculty to submit research proposals and then manage those sponsored awards.

Previously, I was Co-Editor & Project Manager with Principal Investigator, Francis Everitt at Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory, Stanford University and Diversity Officer for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the School of Earth, Energy, and Environmental Sciences at Stanford University. I managed projects while editing three books with Prof. Everitt, with topics ranging from physics to history. I was also in charge of finances and recruiting while at the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Project Manager for the first Big Earth Hackathon – a two-day data science competition for Stanford students.

Before Stanford, I ran my own consulting company. My university education includes Mechanical Engineering and an internship at NASA building flight simulators. Prior to earning my MBA I was board member and representative for three non-profits.
