Liang Yang is a Ph.D candidate in Geological Sciences. His interests include geostatistics, Bayesian inference, geospatial data analysis, computer vision, machine learning, GIS and 3D modeling. His Ph.D research goal is to develop statistical methods to make predictions, quantify uncertainty and make decisions for problems that involve spatial-temporal data, and focus on applications in natural resources, energy and environment.
